The NYX Communication Design Awards is an international competition recognising excellence in graphic design and visual communication. It celebrates projects that demonstrate exceptional creativity, originality, strategic thinking, visual excellence, and meaningful impact across branding, graphic design, editorial design, typography, illustration, environmental graphics, and related communication disciplines.
Who can enter the NYX Communication Design Awards?
The competition is open to communication designers, graphic designers, branding agencies, creative studios, publishers, marketing agencies, educational institutions, students, and emerging professionals worldwide. Individual designers, collaborative teams, and organisations are all welcome to participate.
What types of communication design projects are eligible?
The NYX Communication Design Awards accepts completed, conceptual, commissioned, experimental, and unpublished projects created, launched, completed, published, or substantially updated on or after 1 January 2022. Entries may be submitted into one or multiple relevant categories.
How are Communication Design entries judged?
Every submission is evaluated through an independent blind judging process by an international jury of experienced design professionals. Entries are assessed based on Creativity & Originality, Design Excellence, Innovation, User Experience & Functionality, and Industry Impact, ensuring every project is judged fairly, objectively, and solely on its own merit.
